The Path
|
 |
I've walked this path before
Opening up to the outside
Trying to experience others
While others experience me
The path is never an easy one
Some times it dusty from the past
Yet other times it muddy from pain
Left by a current event
The path is always there
Winding from person to person
I trek as a social outcast
Knowing I have no more choices
A lone walk down the social path
Missing the jokes or being one
Never finding what others find
The living paradox
Did I choose the path?
Maybe the path chose me
Time stalks me
While the past haunts me
