Just a Game
|
 |
I've heard all you've had to say
It all comes down to me being wrong
You may be a different face
But your words always come out the same
Set me aside in my own world
You know I've pushed and been pushed harder
Leave me alone with all my thoughts
Show everyone you're not at fault
How and what I feel doesn't matter
It's just a game to you
From chit-chat to how you care
All is just the same old trash
No one should be hurt in your eyes
We're just all playing around
Don't try to make me feel better
I don't need your patronizing words
It might have worked before
Only now I've grown cold inside
Leave me alone inside myself
There's no one out there I care to reach
Take your so called caring away
It's more toxic than the air I breathe
How and what I feel doesn't matter
I'm done with the game
From the weather to you want to help
All is just the same old trash
Take what you pretend to share
I'm not in the game any more
