Half or Nothing?

Some say it's half full
Others that it's half empty
I only wish to drink
For my thirst is great
Some offer money
Others provide a meal
I only want pride
From what I have done
Some look at me as strange
Others wonder where I'm from
I only wish to be me
Not fill another's sum
So before you say I'm negative
Or all so positive
Look again at me
And tell me what you see
