Why bother to write
You'll never understand my words
The meaning will not strike you
As I hope that they could

It won't surprise me
Not like things will change
I'll tell you how I feel
Only to have you walk away

Why bother to be here
You won't care 'til you need me
It's not like I need you
I get by on my own

It wouldn't surprise me
If you don't show up
I'll stand here waiting
While you're some where else

Who needs a friend?
What do they have to offer?
Can't I hurt by myself?
Share my feelings to the wall

Never surprises me
Words in black and white
They hold no meaning
Not any more for me
